Exam Countdown
Pick your exam date and watch a live countdown of days, hours, and minutes.
Pick your exam date to start the countdown.
An exam countdown shows the days, hours, minutes, and seconds left until your test, counting to the end of the exam day. The most useful figure is the days remaining: use it to size your revision, split topics evenly across the time you have, and leave the final day for review and rest.
Turning a date into a plan
A countdown only helps if you act on it. Pick your exam date and the timer shows the days, hours, minutes, and seconds remaining, counting to the end of that day (23:59) — day-level precision is what matters for revision. The real value is the first number: days left. Use it to size the work, not to create panic.
Plan backward from the exam. List your topics, divide them across the days you have, and leave the last day or two empty for review and rest. A plan that fills every remaining minute leaves no room for the inevitable bad day. A study planner can turn the days left into a balanced schedule across your subjects.
Reading the number honestly
More than two weeks out. You have room for spaced repetition: cover each topic once, then revisit it a few days later. This is when steady, short sessions beat long ones.
Under a week. Stop learning brand-new material and shift to active recall on what you already know — past papers, flashcards, and worked problems. Spend time on the topics that carry the most marks.
The last day. Light review and sleep. Cramming overnight trades a little extra coverage for worse recall and focus the next morning; it rarely pays off.
The countdown runs while the tab is open and resets if you reload, so it is a quick check-in rather than a saved tracker — open it each morning to recalibrate your day.
